Lava Lamp

Lava Lamp is an Uncommon relic in Slay the Spire 2 that grants 8 Vigor at the start of each combat. Vigor is a buff that is consumed to add extra damage to your next Attack, giving you a powerful opening strike in every fight.

Starting with 8 Vigor means your first Attack each combat deals 8 additional damage for free, effectively giving you a significant damage boost on turn 1. This front-loaded damage is especially valuable for eliminating weaker enemies quickly or dealing a substantial opening blow to elites and bosses before they can set up their defenses.

Lava Lamp synergizes with high-base-damage Attacks that you want to play on turn 1, as the Vigor bonus adds on top of the card's existing damage. It is less effective if your first Attack is a weak multi-hit card, as Vigor is typically consumed on a single Attack.
