Mango

Mango is a Rare relic in Slay the Spire 2 that causes Elite enemies to drop an additional relic when defeated. This relic fundamentally changes the value proposition of elite fights, making them even more rewarding and incentivizing aggressive, elite-hunting pathing.

Relics are among the most powerful rewards in Slay the Spire 2, and doubling the relic output from elite fights is an extraordinary benefit. Each additional relic compounds your power level, providing new passive effects, combat bonuses, or strategic options. Over the course of a run, collecting even 2-3 extra relics from elites can dramatically increase your overall strength.

Mango is most valuable when found early, as it has more elite fights ahead to generate bonus relics. It pairs well with Preserved Insect, which makes elite fights easier, and with pathing strategies that prioritize elite encounters. The relic also synergizes well with Mini Regent, creating an elite-hunting package of relics. Mango has no anti-synergies and is one of the strongest Rare relics in the game for players willing to fight elites aggressively.
