Maw Bank

Maw Bank is an Uncommon relic in Slay the Spire 2 that adds 1 Enthralled card to your deck upon pickup and grants Colorless Energy at the start of each turn. This relic offers a powerful Energy boost at the cost of polluting your deck with an Enthralled card that you must manage.

The Colorless Energy gained each turn is a significant benefit, as Energy is the most valuable resource in combat. Being able to play an additional card each turn dramatically increases your combat effectiveness. However, the Enthralled card added to your deck introduces a drawback that you need to account for through card removal or by finding ways to minimize its negative impact.

Maw Bank is best in runs where you can quickly remove the Enthralled card from your deck at a Shop or through events, leaving you with the Energy benefit and none of the downside. It synergizes with cards that Exhaust, as exhausting the Enthralled card removes it from play for the remainder of combat. The relic is riskier in decks without good ways to handle the dead card, but for players willing to manage the drawback, the Energy bonus is well worth the investment.
