Paper Phrog

Paper Phrog is an Uncommon relic in Slay the Spire 2 that increases the damage bonus from Vulnerable from the standard 50% to a massive 75%. This relic transforms Vulnerable from a solid debuff into one of the most potent damage multipliers in the game, dramatically increasing your damage output against afflicted enemies.

The upgrade from 50% to 75% bonus damage is enormous in practice. An Attack that would normally deal 15 damage against a Vulnerable target (10 base + 50%) now deals 17 (10 base + 75%). This difference compounds with every Attack you play against Vulnerable enemies, and it scales even harder with Strength bonuses and high-damage cards.

Paper Phrog is strongest in decks that consistently apply Vulnerable through cards like Bash, Uppercut, or Leg Sweep. Characters with easy access to Vulnerable application, particularly the Ironclad, benefit immensely from this relic. It also synergizes with multi-hit Attacks, where the enhanced Vulnerable bonus multiplies across each hit. The relic loses value in builds that do not apply Vulnerable regularly or rely on non-Attack damage sources like Poison.
