Eidolon is a rare Necrobinder skill costing 2 Energy that Exhausts your entire Hand and grants 1 Intangible if 9 or more cards were Exhausted this way. Intangible reduces all damage to 1 for a turn, making this one of the most powerful defensive options available when the condition is met.

Eidolon requires heavy card draw to reach the 9-card threshold. Neurosurge draws 2 and provides Energy, while Pagestorm chains draws off Ethereal cards. Call of the Void adds an extra card each turn, and Glimpse Beyond seeds your deck with Souls that can fill your hand for Eidolon's mass Exhaust.

In the Necrobinder Souls archetype, Eidolon is a desperation defense that doubles as a massive Exhaust trigger. Against bosses with devastating single attacks like Kin Priest and Lagavulin Matriarch, achieving Intangible at the right moment can save your run. The mass Exhaust also feeds Soul Storm's scaling and can trigger Devour Life multiple times if Souls are among the Exhausted cards.
