Shadow Step pairs excellently with Wraith Form, making the 3-cost Power free to play. Leg Sweep becomes free 11 Block and 2 Weak. Burst can follow Shadow Step for a free double-Skill setup. Predator at 0 cost provides 15 free damage and 2 card draws next turn. Bullet Time becomes free, enabling your entire hand to be played.

Silent players should pick Shadow Step in decks with expensive key cards that benefit from cost reduction. It is particularly strong in combo decks that need to play multiple expensive cards in a turn. The card excels against every boss by enabling plays that would otherwise be impossible due to energy constraints.
