Lost Wisp is an Uncommon relic in Slay the Spire 2 that raises your Max HP by 20 upon pickup but causes you to draw 2 fewer cards at the start of each combat. This relic trades long-term combat efficiency for a massive health pool increase, creating a significant strategic tradeoff.
The 20 Max HP boost is the largest in the game from a single relic, providing a tremendous health cushion that makes you much harder to kill over the course of a run. However, starting each combat with only 3 cards instead of 5 is a severe handicap that limits your options on the critical first turn of every fight.
Lost Wisp is most viable in decks with strong draw engines that can recover from the reduced starting hand within the first turn or two. Cards like Offering, Backflip, and Battle Trance help offset the draw penalty. The relic is dangerous in decks that rely on a strong opening hand to establish their game plan. Consider taking Lost Wisp when your deck can handle the draw penalty and your run is struggling with HP management rather than combat effectiveness.
