Blade Dance

Blade Dance is a 1-cost common Skill card for the Silent that adds 3 Shivs into your hand. Shivs are 0-cost Attack cards that deal modest damage, effectively giving you three free attacks to play. This makes Blade Dance one of the most efficient card-generation effects available, filling your hand with playable cards at minimal cost.

Blade Dance is the backbone of Shiv strategies, pairing perfectly with Accuracy to make each generated Shiv hit significantly harder. Phantom Blades triggers when you play Blade Dance as a Skill, adding yet another Shiv to your hand. Afterimage gains 1 Block for each Shiv played, turning the three Shivs into defensive value as well. Finisher becomes devastating after playing Blade Dance, as each Shiv counts as an Attack played this turn.

Silent players should prioritize Blade Dance in any Shiv-focused build, and it remains useful even in non-Shiv decks as cheap damage and card plays. It excels against bosses like Ceremonial Beast where sustained multi-hit damage is effective. The card is an excellent early pickup that defines the Shiv archetype and only grows stronger with supporting cards like Accuracy and Infinite Blades.
