Second Wind is a 1-cost Uncommon Skill card for the Ironclad that Exhausts all non-Attack cards in your hand and grants 5 Block for each card Exhausted. In a hand with 3 non-Attack cards, this generates 15 Block for just 1 energy, making it one of the most efficient Block generators available.

Second Wind is devastating with Dark Embrace and Feel No Pain, which trigger off each Exhausted card to draw replacements and generate even more Block. In a deck with Anger, the Attacks stay while everything else is Exhausted for Block. Rage benefits from the Attack-heavy hand left behind after Second Wind clears the non-Attacks. Combine with Burning Pact and Stoke, which you can play first for value before Second Wind Exhausts them.

Second Wind is a premium defensive card for Ironclad Exhaust builds. Pick it when your deck has a good mix of Attacks and non-Attack cards to Exhaust. It struggles in decks that are purely Attacks. Against The Insatiable and other bosses that deal heavy consistent damage, Second Wind provides the Block needed to survive. The card also thins your deck by Exhausting weaker cards, improving future draws. It pairs with the Ironclad's aggressive identity by keeping your Attacks while ditching the rest.
