Synthesis pairs beautifully with Echo Form, reducing its 3 cost to 0 after Synthesis, and with Creative AI for the same discount. Electrodynamics at 0 cost alongside Synthesis's 12 damage creates an explosive AoE turn. Storm and Subroutine can chain off the discounted Power for additional Lightning and Energy.

For the Defect, Synthesis is a strong tempo card that combines damage with Power acceleration. Against bosses like Lagavulin Matriarch where deploying Powers quickly is critical, Synthesis plus a free Echo Form can define the fight. Against Knowledge Demon, the 12 damage provides meaningful offense while the discount funds your scaling. Pick Synthesis when your deck has expensive Powers you want to deploy alongside damage.
