Ninja Scroll is a Rare relic in Slay the Spire 2 that adds 3 Shivs to your hand at the start of each combat. Shivs are zero-cost Attack cards that deal modest damage and are then Exhausted, providing immediate offensive pressure on your opening turn without costing any Energy.

Three free Shivs on turn 1 give you significant front-loaded damage and immediate tempo. You can use them to quickly eliminate weaker enemies, trigger damage-on-Attack effects, or simply supplement your normal turn with extra damage. Since Shivs cost 0, they do not compete with your regular cards for Energy.

Ninja Scroll is the premier relic for Shiv-centric Silent builds, synergizing with relics like Helical Dart, Tingsha, and Tough Bandages that trigger effects when Shivs are played or discarded. It also pairs well with Accuracy, which increases Shiv damage. Beyond dedicated Shiv builds, Ninja Scroll provides reliable value in any deck that benefits from playing multiple cheap Attacks, triggering relics like Ornamental Fan and Nunchaku.
