Card
Aggression
Gain 3 Strength. At the end of your turn, lose 1 Strength.
Aggression is a 2-cost Rare Power card for the Ironclad that grants 3 Strength immediately but causes you to lose 1 Strength at the end of each turn. This means you get a powerful initial burst that slowly decays over 3 turns before becoming a net negative. The card rewards aggressive play styles that aim to deal maximum damage in the first few turns after playing it.
Aggression pairs well with Fiend Fire and Conflagration, which deal massive burst damage in a single turn before the Strength decays. Inflame and Colossus can offset the Strength loss over time, keeping you in the positive. Cards like Reaper benefit enormously from the initial Strength spike to heal back large amounts of HP. Combine with Offering for the energy and draw to capitalize on the burst turn.
Aggression is the Ironclad's choice for decks that want to end fights fast rather than scale slowly. It is strong against enemies like Knowledge Demon that punish long fights, and against Vantom where early burst can be decisive. Avoid relying on it as your only Strength source in long boss fights like Kaiser Crab. Pick it when your deck already has high-damage Attacks that can exploit the temporary Strength window.
