Banshee's Cry is a rare Necrobinder attack with a base cost of 6 Energy that deals 33 damage to ALL enemies, reduced by 2 Energy for each Ethereal card played this combat. In decks heavy with Ethereal and Soul cards, this cost can drop to 0, delivering devastating AoE damage for free.

Banshee's Cry scales with every Ethereal card in your deck. Seance transforms cards into Ethereal Souls, Sculpting Strike adds Ethereal to cards in hand, and Call of the Void generates Ethereal cards every turn. Pagestorm and Spirit of Ash further reward the Ethereal-dense deck that makes Banshee's Cry affordable.

In the Necrobinder Souls archetype, Banshee's Cry is the ultimate AoE payoff for playing many Ethereal cards. Against multi-enemy bosses like Doormaker and fights with minions, a discounted Banshee's Cry can clear the board. In longer fights against Kaiser Crab or The Insatiable, the Ethereal count naturally climbs high enough to make Banshee's Cry effectively free by the mid-to-late combat.
