Dodge and Roll is a 1-cost common Skill card for the Silent that gains 4 Block now and 4 Block at the start of the next turn. The deferred Block provides defense across two turns from a single card play, offering strong total value for just 1 energy. This makes it effective for smoothing out defensive consistency.

Dodge and Roll synergizes with Footwork, which adds Dexterity to both the immediate and next-turn Block for doubled value. Blur retains any existing Block alongside the next-turn Block gain for massive accumulation. Phantom Blades triggers on this Skill, generating a Shiv while you gain Block. Afterimage complements the Block theme by adding even more Block per card played.

Silent players should pick Dodge and Roll when building defensive decks, especially alongside Footwork where the Dexterity bonus applies twice. It performs well against enemies with alternating attack patterns like Soul Fysh and Vantom. The predictable next-turn Block makes it easier to plan defensive turns in advance against bosses.
