Footwork is a 1-cost uncommon Power card for the Silent that permanently grants 2 Dexterity for the rest of the fight. Dexterity adds bonus Block to every Block-generating card played, meaning each Footwork makes every defensive card in your deck more effective. Multiple copies stack, providing 4 or even 6 extra Block per defensive card.

Footwork pairs powerfully with Blur for persistent Block retention boosted by Dexterity, and Backflip for efficient Block plus card draw that scales with the bonus. Dodge and Roll gains double value from Dexterity since it grants Block on two separate turns. Cloak and Dagger becomes an incredibly efficient card with Footwork, providing enhanced Block plus a free Shiv. Afterimage's 1 Block per card played also benefits from Dexterity bonuses.

Silent players should prioritize Footwork in any build that generates Block, as it universally improves defensive consistency. It excels against hard-hitting bosses like Kaiser Crab and Doormaker where reliable Block is essential for survival. Pick Footwork early and build around it with multiple Block cards for a virtually impenetrable defense.
