Dualcast

Dualcast is an uncommon Defect skill costing 1 Energy that Evokes your next Orb twice. This doubles the Evoke effect of whatever Orb sits in the rightmost slot, making it an incredibly flexible tool: double Lightning damage, double Frost Block, double Dark damage, or double Plasma Energy depending on your board state.

Dualcast pairs beautifully with Darkness to unleash massive Dark Orb damage, and with Glacier to generate substantial defensive Block from Frost Evokes. Cold Snap can set up a Frost Orb for immediate double Evoke, while Fusion channels Plasma that Dualcast can convert into a burst of 4 Energy.

For the Defect, Dualcast is a key burst tool in boss fights where timing matters. Against Lagavulin Matriarch, saving a charged Dark Orb for a double Evoke can deal devastating damage. It is also excellent against Knowledge Demon when you need to push lethal in a narrow window. Pick Dualcast when you have reliable Orb generation and want a finisher that converts your board into immediate impact.
