Machine Learning is a rare Defect Power costing 1 Energy that draws 1 additional card at the start of each turn for the rest of combat. This permanent draw increase is one of the most impactful scaling effects available, as more cards per turn means more options, more damage, and more defense every single turn.

Machine Learning pairs excellently with Echo Form, as the extra card draw provides more options for which card to double. Creative AI generates Powers that benefit from having a full hand to play around. Compile Driver benefits from the increased hand size, and Stack generates more Block as more cards pass through your hand to the discard pile.

For the Defect, Machine Learning is a premium Power that improves every strategy. Against bosses like Kaiser Crab and Test Subject #C10 where sustained advantage wins, extra draws each turn compound into overwhelming card advantage. Against aggressive bosses, more draws means finding defensive answers faster. Play Machine Learning as early as possible in any fight to maximize its cumulative benefit. Pair with Overclock and Skim for even more draw.
