Protector is a rare Necrobinder attack costing 1 Energy that commands Osty to deal 10 damage plus bonus damage equal to Osty's Max HP. This effectively converts all the HP you have invested in your skeletal companion into a powerful offensive strike, making Osty's survivability directly proportional to your burst damage potential.

Protector pairs exceptionally well with Necro Mastery, which Summons 5 and creates a damage-sharing link, and Calcify, which boosts Osty's attack damage further. Sic 'Em can set up multiple Osty attacks in a turn, while Legion of Bone provides a massive Summon burst to maximize Osty's Max HP before unleashing Protector.

In Necrobinder's Osty/Summon archetype, Protector serves as the premier finisher. Against high-HP bosses like Ceremonial Beast and Kaiser Crab, spending early turns building Osty's HP through Summon effects and then unleashing Protector can deal devastating damage in a single blow. This card rewards patient play and turns defensive Summon investment into lethal burst.
