Reboot

Reboot is a rare Defect skill costing 0 Energy that shuffles your entire hand and discard pile into your draw pile, then draws 4 cards before Exhausting. This dramatic reshuffling effect resets your deck state, providing a fresh hand while recycling cards that might have been stranded in your discard pile.

Reboot pairs well with Seek, which can be used after Reboot to tutor a specific card from the now-reshuffled draw pile. Machine Learning provides extra draws on subsequent turns to leverage the reshuffled deck. Hologram can retrieve Reboot from the discard pile, but since Reboot Exhausts, you would need to use Hologram before playing Reboot again.

For the Defect, Reboot is a powerful emergency button that fixes bad hands and resets your draw pile composition. Against bosses like Knowledge Demon where finding specific answers quickly matters, Reboot gives you a fresh chance. Against The Insatiable, it can recover key defensive cards that were stuck in discard. Use Reboot when your current hand is weak and your discard contains the cards you need.
