Scrape

Scrape is an uncommon Defect attack costing 1 Energy that deals 7 damage, draws 4 cards, and discards all drawn cards that do not cost 0 Energy. This filtering effect creates explosive turns in 0-cost builds, as the 4 drawn cards are kept only if they are free to play. In the right deck, Scrape draws 4 cards with no discards.

Scrape is a cornerstone of the 0-cost archetype alongside Claw, Beam Cell, Go for the Eyes, and FTL. All for One retrieves these cards from discard, and Scrape filters for them when drawn. Feral returns the first 0-cost Attack to hand, and Momentum Strike naturally reduces to 0 to survive Scrape's filter.

For the Defect, Scrape is essential in 0-cost builds and mediocre elsewhere. Against bosses like Kaiser Crab and Test Subject #C10 where the 0-cost engine has time to set up, Scrape draws your entire 0-cost suite for devastating turns. Against aggressive bosses, Scrape risks discarding needed defensive cards. Only pick Scrape when your deck has 5+ cards that cost 0 Energy, and pair it with All for One for maximum recursion.
