Deadly Poison

Deadly Poison is a 1-cost common Skill card for the Silent that applies 5 Poison to an enemy. As a cheap, reliable source of Poison, it provides solid early-game damage that scales with Poison-amplifying cards. The 1-energy cost makes it easy to weave into turns alongside Block cards without sacrificing too much defense.

Deadly Poison synergizes naturally with Noxious Fumes, adding burst Poison on top of the passive per-turn application. Outbreak turns those 5 Poison stacks into a rapidly compounding threat as each tick adds more Poison. Bouncing Flask pairs well for turns where you want to dump massive Poison quickly. Burst doubles the application to 10 Poison for just 1 extra card play, offering excellent value.

Silent players should pick Deadly Poison early when building toward a Poison deck, as it is one of the most efficient common Poison cards available. It performs well against bosses like Lagavulin Matriarch and Soul Fysh where consistent Poison pressure is needed. In later acts, it may be cut from highly optimized decks in favor of higher-impact Poison cards, but it remains a reliable workhorse throughout most runs.
