Forbidden Grimoire synergizes with the entire Souls/Blood Magic suite including Dredge, Seance, Haunt, and Devour Life. Combined with Necro Mastery and Pagestorm for additional Graveyard manipulation, Forbidden Grimoire amplifies the Necrobinder's most powerful loop. Spirit of Ash and Call of the Void provide additional rare-tier Soul synergies.

Forbidden Grimoire is a late-game Power that rewards fully committed Souls/Blood Magic builds. Against Act 3 bosses like Doormaker and Test Subject #C10, a Necrobinder with Forbidden Grimoire, Haunt, Devour Life, and Graveyard retrieval cards creates one of the most powerful strategies in Slay the Spire 2.
