Master Planner

Master Planner is a 1-cost rare Power card for the Silent that causes you to Retain your entire hand this turn. Unlike Well-Laid Plans which retains 1 card per turn permanently, Master Planner retains everything but only for the current turn. This allows you to bank an entire hand of powerful cards for a devastating next turn.

Master Planner synergizes with Shadowmeld, which gains Block based on cards in hand, so a retained full hand means maximum Block. Burst can be retained alongside the perfect Skill for a double play next turn. Blade Dance plus Accuracy can be held together for a coordinated Shiv burst. Expertise draws cards to maximize the hand before retaining everything.

Silent players should pick Master Planner when their deck has powerful card combinations that benefit from being played together. It is effective against bosses with predictable patterns like Lagavulin Matriarch where you can bank cards for the attack turn. The one-time Retain is less versatile than Well-Laid Plans but enables more explosive single turns.
