Uproar

Uproar is a common Defect attack costing 1 Energy that deals 5 damage twice and then plays a random Attack from your Draw Pile. This cascading effect provides significant value, as the bonus Attack is played for free, effectively giving you two cards' worth of offense for 1 Energy. The randomness adds variance but is generally favorable in Attack-heavy decks.

Uproar pairs well with Barrage, which can be the randomly played Attack for massive Orb-scaled damage, and with Sunder, which gets played for free while potentially refunding Energy if it kills. Hyperbeam deals devastating AoE as a free bonus play, and Ball Lightning provides damage plus Lightning channeling when triggered.

For the Defect, Uproar is a strong offensive common that rewards building a deck with powerful Attacks. Against bosses like Vantom and Doormaker, the bonus Attack can represent 10-25+ extra damage per play. Be mindful that the random selection means building around high-value Attack targets improves Uproar's consistency. Pair it with deck manipulation like Seek to position your best Attacks in the draw pile.
