Focus Potion

Focus Potion grants permanent Focus for the rest of combat, increasing the effectiveness of all Defect orb effects including Lightning damage, Frost Block, Dark damage, and Plasma energy generation. This potion is a direct scaling tool for orb-based strategies.

Drink Focus Potion early in boss fights against Soul Fysh or Kin Priest to maximize the cumulative orb output across many turns. It is also valuable against Kaiser Crab where enhanced Frost orbs can generate enough Block to weather its attacks while Lightning orbs chip away at its health.

Defect is the primary beneficiary of Focus Potion, combining it with Biased Cognition for explosive Focus stacking or Creative AI for sustained Power generation. Echo Form doubles orb evokes for compounded Focus value. Electrodynamics spreads Lightning damage to all enemies, amplified by the extra Focus. Hyperbeam's damage is separate from orbs but Focus Potion frees you to focus on orb scaling. Sacred Bark doubles the Focus granted, and Cracked Core's starting orb immediately benefits. Toy Ornithopter heals on use, and Sozu prevents future potion drops.
