Abrasive

Abrasive is a 1-cost rare Power card for the Silent that applies 3 Poison to ALL enemies whenever you shuffle your draw pile. Each shuffle event triggers a free area-of-effect Poison application, rewarding decks that cycle quickly through their cards. In thin decks that shuffle frequently, this can apply Poison many times per fight.

Abrasive synergizes with Calculated Gamble and Acrobatics, which help cycle through the deck faster to trigger more shuffles. Tools of the Trade draws and discards each turn, accelerating deck cycling. Noxious Fumes and Outbreak layer additional Poison on top of the shuffle-triggered applications. Prepared and Dagger Throw also speed up draw pile cycling for more frequent shuffle triggers.

Silent players should pick Abrasive when running a thin, fast-cycling deck with plenty of draw and discard effects. It performs best in longer fights against bosses like The Insatiable and Doormaker where multiple shuffles occur naturally. The card is less effective in thick decks that rarely shuffle, so evaluate your deck size before committing to it.
