This passive area damage triggers automatically without costing any cards or energy, providing consistent chip damage every turn. Against groups of enemies, it whittles down all targets simultaneously.

Fan of Knives pairs well with Envenom, as each hit on each enemy applies 1 Poison, creating widespread Poison application against groups. Noxious Fumes layers additional area damage on top for devastating passive pressure. Accuracy and Blade Dance focus on single-target Shiv damage while Fan of Knives handles area threats. Afterimage provides Block for each card played, complementing the passive damage with passive defense.

Silent players should pick Fan of Knives for decks that struggle with multi-enemy encounters, as the passive area damage is extremely efficient.
