Pounce is a 1-cost uncommon Attack card for the Silent that deals 8 damage and gains 1 energy. The energy refund effectively makes Pounce a free 8-damage Attack, as the energy spent to play it is immediately returned. This efficiency makes it one of the best damage-per-energy Attacks available.

Pounce pairs with Finisher, counting as an Attack played while refunding energy to play Finisher afterward. Follow Through benefits from Pounce as an Attack played this turn for card draw. Envenom applies Poison whenever Pounce's damage is unblocked. The energy gain enables playing additional cards like Blade Dance or Leg Sweep in the same turn.

Silent players should pick Pounce in virtually any deck as efficient damage with energy generation. It excels in Shiv and Attack-heavy builds where the energy refund enables larger turns. The card is effective against every boss, from Ceremonial Beast in Act 1 to Test Subject #C10 in Act 3.
