Shared Fate

Shared Fate is a rare Necrobinder skill costing 0 Energy that causes both you and the target enemy to lose 2 Strength, then Exhausts. This symmetrical debuff is strongly in your favor since enemy Strength directly reduces their damage output while Necrobinder often relies on Doom, Osty attacks, and Souls rather than personal Strength for damage.

Shared Fate combines well with Debilitate, which amplifies the impact of Weak and Vulnerable, and Enfeebling Touch for additional enemy Strength reduction. Misery can spread the Strength loss to all enemies in multi-target fights. Sleight of Flesh triggers its damage bonus whenever you apply this debuff.

As a Necrobinder control tool, Shared Fate shines in the Doom archetype where your damage comes from Doom stacks rather than your own Attack damage. Against Strength-scaling bosses like Ceremonial Beast and Lagavulin Matriarch, reducing enemy Strength by 2 for free can dramatically reduce incoming damage over a long fight, and the self-penalty is negligible when your kills come from Doom execution.
