Block Potion is essential against bosses with telegraphed heavy attacks like Lagavulin Matriarch's massive strikes or Ceremonial Beast's devastating charged attacks. It is also valuable against Kaiser Crab when you need to survive its burst damage phases while maintaining your offensive momentum.

Ironclad pairs Block Potion excellently with Barricade, as the potion Block carries over between turns and compounds with further Block generation. Silent can supplement Wraith Form turns where intangibility is not yet active. Defect can combine it with Buffer for multiple defensive layers. Sacred Bark doubles the Block provided for massive single-turn protection.
