Snecko Oil randomizes the costs of all cards in your hand, setting each to a random value between zero and three energy. This chaotic potion can enable incredible turns where expensive cards cost zero, but also risks making cheap cards unplayable by inflating their costs.

Snecko Oil is a high-risk gamble best used in desperate situations against bosses like The Insatiable or Vantom where you need a miracle turn to survive. It is also viable against Test Subject #C10 when your normal energy economy is not sufficient to deal with the fight's demands.

Defect benefits from Snecko Oil when running expensive cards like Meteor Strike and Echo Form, which can become free with lucky rolls. Ironclad's expensive Demon Form and Fiend Fire can also benefit from cost randomization. Silent can gamble on Wraith Form costing zero for a free Intangible turn. Necrobinder's Forbidden Grimoire becomes incredible if it costs zero. Sacred Bark does not affect Snecko Oil's randomization, and Toy Ornithopter heals on use. Cracked Core helps Defect maintain orb output regardless of cost randomization.
