Glory
Glory is the Act 3 environment in Slay the Spire 2 and the final region before the run's conclusion. It is a resplendent, otherworldly realm of divine architecture, celestial guardians, and mechanical marvels. The enemies here are the most powerful in the game, demanding fully realized deck strategies and precise decision-making. Act 3 is where runs are won or lost.
Normal enemies in Glory include Devoted Sculptor, Fabricator, Frog Knight, Globe Head, Living Shield, Turret Operator, Owl Magistrate, Punch Construct/Cubex Pack, Scroll of Biting, and Slimed Berserker. These enemies use sophisticated attack patterns including multi-attack sequences, scaling buffs, and status card generation. Elite enemies are the Knight Trio (Flail Knight, Spectral Knight, and Magi Knight), Mecha Knight, and Soul Nexus. The Knight Trio is one of the most difficult elite encounters in the game, requiring AoE damage and careful target prioritization.
Glory's boss pool includes Doormaker and Test Subject #C10, both representing the ultimate challenge in Slay the Spire 2. Doormaker summons portals that spawn minions, demanding AoE alongside single-target damage. The Necrobinder's End of Days, which applies Doom to ALL enemies, is devastating here. The Ironclad's Whirlwind and Immolate handle the spawns effectively. Test Subject #C10 is an HP-stacking boss that tests your deck's maximum damage output. The Defect's Hyperbeam and Thunder Strike, the Ironclad's Demon Form scaling, and the Silent's stacked Poison all offer viable paths to victory.
By Act 3, your deck should be a well-oiled machine. The Ironclad excels here with fully-scaled Strength from Demon Form or a perfected Barricade and Body Slam engine. The Silent's Wraith Form provides crucial Intangible turns against Glory's high-damage enemies. The Defect's maxed Focus with multiple Frost orbs can generate enough Block to trivialize incoming damage. The Regent's forged cards reach their peak power in Act 3, and the Necrobinder's combined Osty tanking, Doom execution, and Soul loops make her one of the strongest Act 3 characters when piloted well.
