Hellraiser is a 2-cost Rare Attack card for the Ironclad that deals 20 damage and causes you to lose 5 HP. The high damage output combined with the significant HP cost makes it a powerful finisher that embodies the Ironclad's berserker playstyle.
Hellraiser triggers Rupture for Strength and Crimson Mantle for both Strength and Block from the 5 HP loss. Inferno deals 6 AoE damage when you play Hellraiser. The high base damage benefits greatly from Inflame and Demon Form Strength bonuses. Spite accumulates damage from Hellraiser's HP payment. Pair with Reaper afterward to heal back HP through damage dealt. The Ironclad's Burning Blood relic helps recover between combats.
Hellraiser is a premium damage card for the Ironclad's self-damage archetype. Pick it when your deck can handle the 5 HP cost through healing or self-damage synergies. Against Ceremonial Beast and other bosses where burst damage matters, 20 damage for 2 energy is excellent. Against The Insatiable, the HP cost can be dangerous without mitigation. The Ironclad rewards aggressive play, and Hellraiser is one of the most aggressive cards available.
