Spite is a 1-cost Uncommon Attack card for the Ironclad that deals 10 damage plus additional damage equal to all HP lost this combat. In a self-damage deck that has paid 20 or more HP throughout the fight, Spite can deal 30 or more damage for 1 energy.

Spite scales with every self-damage card played. Offering's 6 HP loss, Pact's End's massive HP payment, and Hellraiser's 5 HP all contribute to Spite's growing damage. Brutality's passive 1 HP per turn steadily increases the bonus. Bloodletting and Blood Wall provide HP loss alongside their utility effects. Rupture and Crimson Mantle convert the same HP loss into Strength while Spite converts it into burst damage.

Spite is the Ironclad's damage payoff for self-damage decks. Pick it when your deck reliably loses significant HP throughout combat. Against long fights like Doormaker, the accumulated HP loss makes Spite hit for enormous damage in the late fight. It is weak in decks with few self-damage cards. Time Spite for after you have paid significant HP costs to maximize its damage. The Ironclad's willingness to sacrifice HP makes Spite increasingly lethal as the fight progresses.
