Compact is an uncommon Defect skill costing 1 Energy that gains 6 Block and transforms all Status cards in your hand into Fuel. This transforms dead Status draws into playable cards while providing respectable defensive value. Fuel cards provide Energy when played, turning a disadvantage into a resource.

Compact synergizes perfectly with TURBO, which creates Voids that Compact transforms into Fuel, and with Boost Away, whose Dazed cards become Fuel. Fight Through's Wounds and Overclock's Burns are all converted. Gunk Up's Slimed cards also become Fuel, and Smokestack triggers when the original Status cards are created.

For the Defect, Compact is a key card in Status-synergy builds. Against bosses like Doormaker and Lagavulin Matriarch, the 6 Block plus Status conversion provides both defense and resource generation. In decks with multiple Status-generating cards, Compact is essential for preventing hand clog. Pair it with Iteration for a complete Status-management package that draws cards and converts Status effects into advantages.
